Why I Started Letters to Empress

Real Talk: Why I Started Letters to Empress

.

I didn’t start this blog because I had it all figured out, No.
I started it because I was lost — and needed somewhere to
breathe.

Somewhere to speak.
Somewhere to remember.

My sister, Empress, was more than blood.
She was my anchor when life was wild, my hype woman when I doubted myself, and the only person who really saw me — even in silence.

Losing her shattered something in me I still don’t have the words for.
But one thing I knew? I couldn’t let the weight of grief swallow her memory.
She deserved more than silence.

So I created Letters to Empress.

This isn’t just a blog. It’s a safe space.

For broken people trying to rebuild.
For dreamers chasing side hustles while battling depression.
For anyone stuck between
missing someone and still wanting to live.

I talk about music because that’s how I feel.
I post about crypto and online hustles because I’m tired of being broke.
I write about movies, moments, and pain — because maybe someone else out there needs to know they’re not alone.

Everything here? It’s real.
No filters. No perfect endings. Just pieces of me, laid bare — for her, and for anyone who’s ever loved hard and lost harder.

If you’re reading this… thank you.
You’re part of this journey now.

This one’s for you, Empress.
